Buddha uses Anapanasati?

I am an ardent follower of Venerable DhammavuddhoThero‘s Sutta talks of the “original” Buddha’s teachings.  Venerable is the founder of the Vihara Buddha Gotama in Temoh, Perak.

After experiencing the Vipassana meditation method recently, I still fall back to Anapanasati method coz I feel more comfortable doing so though focusing the raising and falling of the abdomen is similar to watching the in breath and out breath (to me).

You may have a better understanding of the said method by listening or reading the Anapanasati Sutta below.

If you listen to Venerable, you will be able to listen to his elaborations or explanations together with the Q&A session at the end ~ (^.^)

I have once asked my Diploma in Buddhism teacher, Uncle Vijaya, about Buddha’s “original” teaching via the Suttas and he has gracefully replied,
“Buddha’s teaching is:
Avoid evil;
Do Good;
Purify one’s mind.
It is difficult to know the exact “original” teaching from 2,600 years ago…”

Yes, we should not be too attached to our views and beliefs ya but still, I am an ardent follower of Venerable Dhammavuddho
